Words from Taylor

People are often shocked when I tell them what I do for a living, they say " eyebrows? That's all you do is eyebrows?" and I respond with "Yep, I find it hard to believe sometimes myself".  In 2018 I started out with Benefit Cosmetics in Raleigh, NC as an arch expert. During that time I was given great opportunities to learn products, brow shaping and client relationships. I enjoyed the work and client relationships even more. 

Fast forward to 2020 when the pandemic hit, the whole world practically shut down including Benefit Brow Bar. I was out of work for 3 months, this gave me time to think and plan for what I wanted out of my career in the future. With love and a little push from my husband,  family and friends Tay's Brow Lounge was created. It was a scary time opening a business in the middle of a pandemic, starting from scratch, not knowing if you will be successful or not. My one thought was if I can just make enough money for groceries then that's a job well done. Within a year and a half I built up the clientele of my dreams. 

I wanted Tay's Brow Lounge to be more than just a place to get your eyebrows waxed, I wanted it to be a place clients could feel comfortable coming to, both with me as the service provider and the services I provide. I'm blessed/shocked to say Tay's Brow Lounge has become more than I ever thought it could be. It's more than "just doing eyebrows", it's the relationships I have gained, It's the confidence I have been given and been able to give and it's a joy to be able to do eyebrows and only eyebrows!
